Sarachan: How do you hope this series will influence viewers, particularly those who recognize patterns of generational abuse in their own life?

I just want people to know that I’m here, I’m listening, and that there are people who can help you. So for me, sharing my story is so important because if someone can resonate with any part of what I am sharing or saying, I hope it empowers them to come forward and to be able to speak out. It was horrific behavior like this that I assumed was normal because no one talked about it. I mean, as you see in House of Hammer, you saw me at eleven-years-old, holding a phone book up as my father shot at it, and then you see me as an adult letting my father hold a loaded gun up to my temple. But because it was about not embarrassing the family and preserving that image, none of what happened got out, and so, of course, I didn’t know that what was happening to me wasn’t OK. As you see in House of Hammer, my grandfather was incredibly powerful and we grew up in this environment where when we were in public, we were camera ready and picture perfect, but behind closed doors, we were not taken care of or safe or loved. For me, being a part of House of Hammer also meant being able to shine a light on multi-generational abuse and the role power can play in sweeping that under the rug. And House of Hammer offered me a platform to do that. What I wanted was to create a platform and be an advocate for victims and survivors. I didn’t want to be a soundbite for his implosion. Hammer: When all the news about Armie was coming out, and the press discovered that I was his aunt, I got a lot of journalists reaching out for me to comment. We hardly ever talk about how he fucked a pie anymore, just about how he got squeezed out of Orange is the New Black.Sarachan: Why did you decide to participate in the docuseries? I get it, toddlers are weird little idiots who put things in their mouth, but when they start putting your toe in their mouth, doesn’t a normal person say “hey, cut that out you little weirdo” after like, 2-3 seconds max?Īrmie needs to get some help from Jason Biggs, I think. I mean, this is one way to get people to stop coming up to you on the street and saying “hey, aren’t you the guy who ate the cum peach?” but I feel like “aren’t you the guy who lets his toddler suck on his toes for seven minutes?” isn’t exactly a step forward. Nancy goes IN on that cornbread and the cartoon world is rocked. This is just… seven minutes? Really? This is like the toe version of Olivia Jaimes’ first Nancy strip. Well, add Armie Hammer to the list because he let his 2-year-old suck his toes for like… way too long.Īctor Armie Hammer has been receiving backlash after he shared a video of his son sucking on his toe to his Instagram Stories.

Is there some sort of rule that you have to be a huge weirdo to be a celebrity? Like how Tom Brady makes out with kids, Quentin Tarantino wrote a four hour long movie framed around taking as many shots of Uma Thurman barefoot as possible and Angelina Jolie… does everything Angelina Jolie does, I don’t have time to unpack that, global warming will kill us all before anyone gets to the end of the list.
